Q&A

Why are you a Realtor?  After many years in the banking, bookkeeping and human resource world, I was looking for a change. I wanted to do something where I could invest a little more of my own personality outside of the corporate “box”.

How long have you been a Realtor?  As noted above, I am just getting started and am very excited about this new chapter in my life. With the help and support of the Grand Living team, I look forward to assiting both buyers and sellers with their real estate needs.

How did you find/decide to move to Flagler County?  I moved to Palm Coast in September of 2017, just in time for hurricane Irma! I have vacationed in the area for many years and knew that I wanted to retire here. With my daughter in Orlando, I ended up making the move sooner than anticipated. Goodbye to New England winters and hello to Florida sunshine!

Where is your dream place to live?  I have always wanted to live in Florida on the Intracoastal Waterway and now my dream is a reality.

What’s your favorite travel destination?  The Outer Banks in North Carolina or Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia with family.

Do you have any pets?  I have 2 kitties, Chardonnay & Lila.

What sports/activities do you play? I play golf and root for the Boston Red Sox. I am also an avid college basketball fan and love March madness!

What are your hobbies?  Sewing, specifically quilting. Also enjoy picture logic puzzles and walking & biking on the local trails.

What’s your favorite childhood memory?  My grandmother’s incredible homemade pies.

Share something unique about yourself.  I grew up in a tiny town that had only 1 traffic light and was rumored to have more cows than people. We went straight to the barn to get our milk. No pasteurized or homogenized for me! Always had to shake the milk as the cream rose right to the top.

What community groups/organizations are you involved in?  I partner annually with The Travelers Championship, a PGA tour event, to raise money for a scholarship in my son’s memory and to raise awareness of the epidemic of teenage driving fatalities.
